This Privacy Policy explains what Data Driven Buyer collects when you use thedatadrivenbuyer.com, why it is used, which service providers may process it, and the choices available to you.
Information Collected
The site may process basic technical information generated by a web request, including IP address, browser and device type, requested page, referring page, date and time, and security or login events. If you contact us, we also process the information you choose to provide.
Contact Form and Email
The Contact page uses WPForms to collect your first name, last name, email address, and message. It may also transmit technical form details such as the page URL and referrer. Submissions are delivered by the site’s WordPress and hosting email system; the current WPForms Lite configuration does not retain form entries in the WordPress database. The message may remain in the receiving mailbox for as long as reasonably needed to reply, maintain records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.

Independent Analytics
Data Driven Buyer uses Independent Analytics, which runs within this site’s WordPress installation. It does not place analytics cookies or send analytics data to an external analytics account. It records information such as pages viewed, referrers, browser or device information, and approximate location. IP address and browser information are processed to create a privacy-oriented visitor identifier; the raw IP address is not stored in the analytics report. Logged-in administrators are excluded from tracking. This locally stored analytics data is kept until it is administratively deleted.
StatCounter
The site also uses StatCounter to understand visits and site usage. StatCounter may receive the page visited, referrer, browser and device information, IP address, approximate location, and related usage data, and may use cookies or similar storage to distinguish visits. Where prior consent is required, StatCounter loads only after Analytics consent has been given. Rejecting or withdrawing Analytics consent prevents it from loading on subsequent page requests.
CookieYes and Consent Choices
CookieYes provides the cookie banner and consent-preference controls. It uses necessary storage, including CookieYes consent records, to remember whether you accepted, rejected, or customized categories. Necessary consent storage cannot be disabled through the banner because it is required to remember your choice.
You may use the banner to accept or reject optional categories and revisit your decision at any time using the “Consent Preferences” control displayed on the site. The controls remember your choices. You may also delete or restrict cookies through your browser, although essential features may then work differently.
Security Logging
Wordfence is used for website security. It may process and log IP address, browser or user-agent information, requested URLs, timestamps, login attempts, and other activity needed to detect malicious traffic, prevent unauthorized access, and investigate security events. Security information may be compared with Wordfence threat-intelligence services when needed to protect the site.
Affiliate Links
Some pages contain Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. If you click one of these links, you leave this site and Amazon may use cookies or other identifiers under its own privacy policy to attribute the referral and operate its services. Data Driven Buyer may receive commission and aggregate referral reporting, but does not receive your Amazon account or payment details.
Hosting, Email Delivery, and WordPress Administration
Hostinger provides website hosting and related infrastructure and may process server logs and technical data needed to deliver and secure the site. The WordPress and hosting email systems process contact-form and administrative email. WordPress uses necessary cookies and storage for logged-in administration, authentication, preferences, and basic site operation. These administrative features are not offered as public visitor accounts.

Retention
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, subject to service configuration, security needs, recordkeeping, and legal requirements. Local analytics remains until deleted by an administrator; security logs and provider-held data follow the applicable configuration and provider retention periods; contact messages may remain in email records as described above.
Your Choices and Rights
You can reject optional Analytics through the consent banner, reopen Consent Preferences to change a choice, clear cookies or site storage in your browser, avoid clicking affiliate links, and choose whether to contact the site. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal, or administrative reasons.
Children’s Privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Data Driven Buyer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
