Short answer: Yes. Beatbot says the AquaSense 2 Ultra can clean saltwater pools as long as the salt concentration is below 5,000 ppm.
That is a useful compatibility limit because “saltwater compatible” is not the same thing as “unlimited salinity.”
What Should You Check?
Look at the salt setting or measured salinity for your chlorination system. Many residential salt pools operate below Beatbot’s published 5,000-ppm ceiling, but your pool’s actual measurement is what matters.
Does Saltwater Change the Cleaning Modes?
Beatbot does not describe a separate reduced cleaning mode for saltwater. The same core floor, wall, waterline and surface-cleaning features apply within the published salinity limit.
After-Cleaning Care Still Matters
Salt and pool chemicals can leave residue on equipment. Follow Beatbot’s cleaning and storage instructions rather than assuming a waterproof robot is maintenance-free.
